Arent the images beautiful? I swear whoever did this set really did a wonderful job. And these things are HUGE… like, i think theyre 6in by 10in or something? I think that they were originally a multiple case insentive offered to dealers. Im not totally sure though. But im REALLY happy to get them. 😀

whew, almost didnt make it! November 5, 2010

had to go in early to work today so i couldnt do my blog in the morning like i usually do.

anyways,  nothing really happened with me today. yesterday night i opened a case with ebay about the man selling the Legolas card (DARN i really really wanted that card too). Im at the point where i know i will never get it so hopefully ill just get my money back so i can buy something… well some thingS  i can get my hands on… a birthday presant too myself actually. Heh, no my birthday isnt this month, its actually in June (7 months away) BUT i wanted to get a head start because i wanted to celebrate the big 3-0 with something nice.  For years ive been dreading my 30th birthday because… well … it kinda means that im done with my childhood and monotony will start to set in. >_<  Yeah i know, im a typical woman facing her thirties in the normal kicking and screaming way but… well at least with this ill have something to look forward to on my b-day. LOL  what am i going to do prey tell?

*cue big god-like voice*

Yes my peeps, from now till the big day im going to be buying as many ST boxes as i can … id like to get 30 boxes but… God knows with my finances thatll never happen… >_<;  … so im going to just get as many as i can for myself.  hopefully cheap as possible.  wish me luck peeps! 😀

SO on to the card of the day…

my second leniticular card from the “Voyager Closer to Home” series (boy i loved that series). Not too bad, unfortunately he was one of the backburner characters  (ya know there were the main ones that got all the attention then there were poor ones that just got no love thru almost the entire series 😦  ).  but he was still a good guy and i liked him.  Command Crew card CC9  numbered 561 of 750.

OH i forgot to mention Tom’s number (the tom paris leniticular card i have).  DOH!  Tom’s number is 482 of 750.  🙂

Well, i guess the guy mustve died or fallen off the planet or something. He never got back to me. So i figured im tired of it and i opened a dispute with ebay. I mean i know in life were busy but if you cant get back to me the next day, dont tell me  youre going to get back to me the next day. Oy.

Well, on to more fun stuff… card of the day!

Another pack pull. I really like the look of these. Its a Tom Paris Leniticular Command Crew card from the series “Voyager Closer to Home”  1999 (regular sized this time… my chakotay is the only promo card i have). Theyre really stylish in person and have nice pictures. I have three total… my promo chakotay, Tom here and a Harry one (which ill probably put up tomorrow).   Have a great day kiddies!! 🙂

I hate waiting! Dont you? November 2, 2010

Well ive been waiting for this one card i bought on the 17th of Oct to arrive!  Its an Orlando Bloom “Legolas” card from Lord of the Rings… paid only $100.00 for him and dangit if i emailed the seller a million times for a delivery confirmation number and he never responds to me!!! Dangit, if i dont get my card today im fileing a complaint with Ebay and getting my money back! GRRRR!!!!! >_<

Oy.  Well on to some lighter things… my next card of the day iiiiiiisssss…

A very rare card! From the “Star Trek Voyager Profiles” set, the number 7 in the 7 of 9 insert set (there were 9 cards made of her history and the 7 card is the most rare … i think it was 1:144 packs. Like every 2 or three boxes  i think).  And can you believe it, i seriously pulled her from a pack!!! 😀  There was a card store that was right next to my house at one time and id go over there all the time to get stuff. i didnt buy a whole box, i bought like maybe 5 or 6 packs and she was in it! I also pulled another rare card from those packs but i forgot to scan it…. >_<  DOH!  well ill probably do that this weekend.  Have a great day kiddies!

Welcome to my world!

This blog is about my hobby, Star Trek cards.  Currently im mostly into the autograph cards and costume cards but every once in awhile something else (other than Star Trek) will catch my eye and ill add it to my collection.

I dont think ill post all my cards here at once. Maybe ill do a “card of the day” type thing so that i can add it here gradually.

Well, that being said ill add my first card … one of my fav’s…

A rare oversized promo card from the series “Voyager Closer to Home” from 1999. I found him one day in a card shop in my hometown. He’s quite damaged (though thankfully you cant tell it from the front) so i got him for a steal of $10 XD !  Chakotay was one of my favorite characters ever in star trek so im very happy with him!!
