EDIT… I TRADED THIS CARD FOR A BELANA TORRES AUTO THAT I REALLY NEEDED… THIS WAS A SWEET CARD WHILE I HAD IT BUT NOW ITS IN THE HANDS OF SOMEONE WHO WILL LOVE IT JUST AS MUCH AS I DID. 🙂
So believe it or not i won this card from our big case break that i hosted…AND…big news for me…:D… Rittenhouse (the maker of the ST cards) actually plugged my youtube break on their facebook!! 😀 😀 😀 YAY! wow i feel like a celeb or something. LOL X-D

Anyways, i did win this card but the part where i actually won it was cut off in my youtube video. I just hope that none of the other people that were involved in the break thought that i was trying to steal it. Id been honest with them the whole time doing the break so they wouldnt have a reason not to believe me. Well anyways, here it is! Numbered 10(!) of 300!!! Captain Picard pin card.

Starting the countdown… June 13, 2011

Well starting the countdown to my birthday. Cant believe its been 8 months since i thought of this idea to open 30 boxes on my birthday. 😀 Well, i opened two already but its ok ill have plenty to open on the big day. Ill be opening everything on Friday.
today i opened a box of Indy Heritage and got an average sketch..

Not sure who the artist is. “RAM08” I know the “08” stands for the year but not sure who the “RAM” is. Suppose ill find out later. Just 4 more days till i can open everything else! 😀

Here’s my box i broke today,
I had a box of Disney Treasures (not the full but but the one with a bobblehead and 4 packs of cards) i got it for almost nothing off of ebay.

and here’s what i got…

4 villins cards, 10 heroes cards, 4 filmography cards, 1 disney retrospective and 1 “Reel” piece of history card (of one of my all time favorite movies, 101 Dalmations!!)!
Very happy!

So i was making a video for insurance purposes about my cards and i realized… i have maybe 10 cards that i didnt put up here! good ones too!  Im like, where have you guys been hiding!?  LOL  okay so im back to the card of the day till i run out of cards to update. 😀  First up is my lonesome boy here, Dr Bashir.  I call him that b/c he’s the only one i have of DS9 autos (well i have John De Lancie from the same set but he’s not technically a DS9 guy b/c he was first introduced in TNG … but we wont get into that ;-p lol).  so here he is…

WOW OH WOW!!!!

Remember that $350 card i said i really wanted? well someone else was selling the same thing for only $300 buy it now!!!  I GOT IT YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I wont say what it was i got (ill let it be a suprise) because the seller’s pic was lowsy. So when i get it im going to scan it and then update it here. 😀 man im SOOOO excited!!! YAY!

OH and another new development? Remember the guy that dropped off the planet with my Legolas card? He has re-emerged too! Saying that he thought he had sent it but didnt and he tore thru his whole house, car, and God knows what else looking for it and he found it!  Man im so relieved about that! I really wanted that card too. I think Orlando Bloom is so cute!  :-3  LOL

Anyways, so heres my card of the day…

This guy was one of my favorite actors as a kid. I LOVED his show “Quantum Leap”.  Its funny, when Enterprise first aired i liked it at first, then the second season hit and it really wasnt all that good to me.  It seemed like they were just borrowing old scripts from previous ST shows (hey ya cant fool a die-hard fan).  So i stopped watching it and the show died at its fourth season. Its really too bad. All the other incarnations of ST had  seven seasons but this one… well if you have asked me at the time it was out i would have said it was an awful show BUT last year i had found out that the library had dvd’s of the show up for rent. So i rented the entire series and i got hooked on it. I really am bummed that i didnt watch the show the  first time it was around… it really was good. I think it just had one defineing flaw that finally led to its demise…. it wasnt fun to watch.  In the third season it was VERY heavy with this one storyline going on (yes ONE storyline for the ENTIRE season). I do understand why they did it. Their ratings probably made them almost on the chopping block had it not been for the title of the show “Star Trek” and they went to the oldest trick in the book to get people to watch… cliffhangers. Seriously every episode had a cliffhanger. Im not saying its bad… but just sad.
